Midwestern State's Emily Brennan enjoyed a breakout campaign ending the year competing for an NCAA Division II Championship.
Now, the Stoke-on-Trent, England native can add Division II Freshman of the Year laurels to her growing list of accolades as released Thursday afternoon by the Women’s Golf Coaches’ Association.
Emily also becomes the second MSU women’s golfer to earn All-America honors as she gained honorable mention to join Brenna Moore, who earned national honors in 2014 (honorable mention) and 2015 (first team).
Emily also gained West Super Region accolades enjoying one of the top seasons in MSU program history. Emily logged seven Top 10 showings in 11 tournaments this season claiming her first collegiate individual win at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate last fall.
